Improvements all round for Indy in the latest round of WorldSSP300 in the Netherlands

Indy Offer closed the gap to the front of the FIM Supersport World Championship leading group in the latest round of the series at the TT Circuit Assen in the Netherlands this past weekend.

The BR Corse Yamaha rider was immediately faster than twelve months ago on the opening day of competition, steadily improving further throughout the weekend as he raced to a double P26 in each of the fourteen lap encounters at the iconic ‘Cathedral of Speed’.

For Indy, the hard work continues over the next two weeks. He will travel to Italy to spend more time with the team, putting in the hours necessary to completely change his riding style and approach in a series of test sessions both on and off road.

The next round of WorldSSP300 takes place at the Estoril Circuit in Portugal in three weeks.

Indy Offer:
“Overall the last three days at the TT Circuit Assen were positive. The bike has proved to be competitive; my team mate made the podium in Race 1, and I am making progress but it’s clear that I must change everything about my riding style to get closer to the front. I want to thank the team for all their help, and I want to be able to keep improving with them as they are a really great team. It’s hard though when I only have two sessions before qualifying and then we go straight into the races as there’s so much that I must do differently compared to how I was riding. I am frustrated but determined to follow the guidance of the team and I know that the gap to the front will reduce in the coming races. Finally, I want to say well done to Mirko for his podium and for all the help he is giving me too. See you in Portugal.”
